Formalize to open their Italian headquarter
Formalize is a Danish legaltech startup founded by Magnus Boye, Kristoffer Abell and Jakob Lilhom in Aahrus, Danmark in 2021. Their original name was “Whistleblower Software Aps” and changed their business name to Formalize in 2024. During the Q1 this year they launched a new platform for the workflow, compliance and process automation. Their Whistlebowing Platform allows the employees to report illegal actions such as fraud, corruption or gender-based discrimination. Starbucks, McDonald’s and Burger King are their customers. Formalize already have 90 EU-wide headcounts in Aahrus, Copenhagen, Madrid and Milan.
They trusted on Blackfin Tech, which is the branch of the French company BlackFin Capital Partners. They closed a 15 million € round and became a real european startup.
